Marry Me, I'm Batman!

Connor's friend Jordan came over to play the other day. She's such a girlie girl and Connor's is such a man's man that I always crack up when I hear them playing together. Jordan had just watched the movie, Bride Wars, with her mom the day before. So, obviously she had marriage on the brain.

As I was passing the room where she and Connor were playing I heard her say, "Connor, bow down and ask me to marry you!" Connor responded with, "I'm Batman!" Jordan insisted, "CONNOR! I said bow down and ask me to marry you!" Connor responded again, "I need to eat first." Jordan gave in and decided to sit down with Connor and "eat," but explained to him that they WERE getting married AFTER they finished "eating."

The two finished eating and Jordan immediately stood up and reminded Connor that it was time to get married. Connor, obviously having a case of cold feet, told Jordan that he was going to "do the dishes first." Jordan, looking a little irritated, said, "FINE! go ahead I need to get dressed anyway." A few seconds later, she returned with one of the few dress up clothes we have. She was wearing a home depot apron, but pretending that it was a beautiful wedding dress. Wow, what an imagination! Connor showed up wearing Parker's training potty on his head. I'm thankful that Parker has not used the potty yet! I didn't stick around to witness the wedding, but Jordan assured me later that afternoon that they WERE married.

Parker didn't have a clue what was going on and played the part of the best friend that doesn't know when to go away. He was right by Connor's side during the entire fiasco. I have a feeling they're going to be TROUBLE during their college years. Lookout Alabama or Southern Mississippi!
