On the Move

Parker started taking a few steps just before we left for Christmas Vacation. At that time, we thought it would be a matter of a few days before he would be chasing Connor everywhere. To our surprise, it took much longer.

A few weeks ago, Parker finally took off. I've been trying to get it on video for quite a while. But, every time I start to record Parker ends up getting hurt or refusing to walk. One time, he walked from the kitchen cabinets to me before I could get my camera to start recording. I bent down to walk him back to the cabinets and the camera smacked him on tip of the head. He was so upset and I felt so terrible that I decided I wouldn't try too hard to get it in video.

Today, I was finally able to catch him without hurting anyone. He's following us everywhere now and getting into even more than before (I had forgotten that was possible). I'm spending most of my days trying to concoct new baby proofing mechanisms. My Dad was so right. He's always said, "You can have kids or you can have stuff; we have kids."
