We took Connor and Parker to have their picture taken with Santa last night. I was delighted to see that he spoke English. And, to my surprise, Connor took to him very well. A much different reaction than he had when meeting the Easter Bunny earlier this year. Connor ran up to Santa, jumped in his lap and started talking to him. He looked as thought he was sitting with an old friend. I couldn't get a picture because I had left the camera in the car and Jimmy was gone to get it. By the time Jimmy returned, Parker was sitting with Santa too. Unlike Connor, he seemed to be a little unsure of the situation, but he never cried. He just had a constant blank stare on his face. We managed to get him to laugh a few timed, but only for like a second each time and we were never able to capture it on the camera.
We passed Santa as we were leaving the mall, but he wasn't wearing his suit. He was talking to a few of the merchants. You should have seen the look on Connor's face. He would look at the guy and then look at me and then look at the guy again. I think Santa was busted.

I let Connor play with a few games while Jimmy ran back to get our photos (I accidentally left them). Here is a great representation of Connor's determination. He really wanted to get a toy out of the machine. I only snapped one picture because I was afraid Connor might make it all the way inside the machine. Could you imagine explaining that to 911!
