My Dad is a huge history buff. He can tell you about anything when it comes to American history. He loves to take advantage of every opportunity he has to teach us about the past. So, this weekend, I watched (and listened) as he told my nieces about David Crockett, Travis, The Alamo, and the battles that followed it. I'm always amazed when I read word for word in the writing at the museums exactly what my Dad had explained to us before we arrived.
