We didn't have a post for Father's Day because Jimmy ended up getting called in to work. He went in on Sunday at 12:30 AM and didn't return until about 10:30 PM.
I took Connor with me a couple of days earlier to pick out a Father's Day gift for Jimmy. I wanted to get something that he could use while spending time with Connor. He loves fishing and is eager to go now that it is warm (that is an understatement). So, I decided to get a small rod for Connor so that Jimmy could start teaching him how to cast and fish.
Connor picked it out himself. He left Wal-Mart with his very own Shreck casting rod. He was so excited that he started trying to use it while it was still in the packaging.
Jimmy loved the gift. I think he is happy that he doesn't have to share his rods with Connor any more.

That is so cute! Love the pic of him casting out. lol. (isn't that what you call it?). Sure will make for some fun with his Daddy!
Gavin wants a fishing pole really bad. Of course, we don't have anywhere to use it. I don't think it would be worthwhile to fish in Lake Pontchartrain!
