Halloween Costume

We're limited in our choices for a Halloween costume for Connor this year. After a quick glance at the Wal-Mart selection I decided that our best option would probably be to swing by the fabric department and pick out a costume pattern that I could sew.

I'm no sewing expert by any means, and don't try to pretend that I am. That's why I chose a pattern from "Sewing Patterns for Dummies". I think Connor will make an adorable scarecrow. So far I spent one day cutting out the pattern, another day picking out fabric and cutting out the appropriate pieces, and a couple of hours sewing the top. Between Connor, a few projects we have going with the new house and my expanding belly, I could be working on the costume for the next couple of weeks. I'll post of picture of Connor in the costume as soon as I finish it.

Speaking of my belly, I've finally entered my third trimester and it sure does show. I've done a lot of growing over the past week. In fact, I've grown so much that people actually feel comfortable asking when I'm due. I have about 11 weeks left before we'll get to meet the newest addition to our family if I go full term. But, my doctor thinks I'll deliver at least a couple of weeks early.
