Columbus Day Weekend

Jimmy had a three-day weekend so we decided to pack up and head to San Antonio for a little shopping and to take Connor to the San Antonio Zoo. We've stayed in San Antonio before, but never took the time for sight seeing. This past weekend, we took a couple of hours to walk the Riverwalk. The weather was great and the area was beautiful. I would love to go back to see the Riverwalk decorated for the holidays.

Afterwards, we met up with a high school friend of Jimmy's and his 5-year old daughter and took Connor to the zoo. Connor loved the turtles, monkeys and birds. But most of all, he loved the petting zoo and we loved watching him terrorize the goats. He spent most of the time in the restricted area where "no people are allowed." It's an area where the goats can rest, but not when Connor is around. He ran into the "restricted area" and started pushing the goats while yelling, "GO!" In less than 10 seconds, all the baby goats were running for their lives.
