The Stare Down

Jimmy and I took Connor and his cousin, Katie, to the park the other day to feed the ducks. Just as we expected, the outing was hilarious. As quickly as we could pull the wagon from the truck and load the kids into it, ducks were swarming all around us. Jimmy immediately handed the kids pieces of bread to throw to the ducks, which made even more ducks flock to the scene. Connor began to get a little nervous as more and more ducks appeared. But, to our surprise, he quickly realized that the ducks were after the bread, not him. So, in order to keep the ducks away, he took the entire slice of bread he was holding and shoved it into his mouth. Jimmy and I were amused because we've never been able to get Connor to eat bread unless it is coated with peanut butter and jelly.
