The Day School had their annual Hay Ride today. This morning I asked Connor if he wanted to stay home and he responded, "No, Mom. I want to go on a hay ride!" I took Connor and his little friend, Meghan, to the hay ride too. Connor had was such a big boy, sitting with his friends instead of me. He waved at me, Parker and Meghan every time he passed. Afterwards, the parents and teachers took pictures of the class. The was a pretend horse in the display and Connor was upset that another classmate was already sitting on it. He handled the disappointment well and settled for sitting on a pumpkin instead. After the class picture, I took pictures of both Connor and Parker on the horse. In the end all was happy, for a little while.
