Bad Hair Day

Connor desperately needed a haircut while we were in Mobile. I had been putting it off until then because I really like to use my Dad's barber for the boys. Well, we were so busy that I couldn't find time to make it to the barber shop. Instead, I was forced to walk around the mall begging salons to cut my three years old son's hair. No one wanted to do it. They were either too busy or simply refused. One lad sat him in the chair to begin cutting Connor's hair, but then abruptly decided not to because he wouldn't wear the cape. Can you believe it!

Anyway, two-three hours later, I found myself standing in the JC Penny salon with a very tired (it was nearly closing time) three year old holding a cupcake. A very nice lady started cutting Connor's hair and he flipped out! I was so surprised and let down. Connor has never gotten upset when having his haircut. It was terrible! The lady ended up having to cut his hair with clippers. And to top it all off, Connor insisted on stripping down to his birthday suit and have his haircut while he sat in the sink spraying himself down with water. It was such a pathetic scene that onlookers didn't know if they should laugh or feel sorry for me.

Oh well, what's done is done. Now, Connor has an uneven haircut and a cowlick that is tarting to look like a mullet on one side of his head. Now, if you want to scare him, all you have to do is threaten him with a haircut. Sorry, now pictures, did you really think I had time to pull out a camera!

Too bad Connor and Jack can't hang out together with their bad hair cuts.
