Parker Finds the Circle Again

This is more video of Parker playing with his cookie jar shape sorter. Today, we've moved on from the circle to the square. By next Friday, we'll be prepping him for college, and possibly med school. He just walked into my room with the blood pressure cuff from Connor's doctor set. He's trying to tell me something, but I can't make it out. Maybe he knows that I'm completely stressed about a health fair I'm planning for the end of the month. I can't find a lab tech to do blood draws for cholesterol and glucose screenings. I think he might be volunteering to help with the event.

I caught the flu the week of Connor's third birthday. It was the worst I have felt since I was in high school. I had forgotten how bad fever makes you feel. I was so sick that Jimmy had to take a day off from work to take care of the boys. I'm feeling much better now, just battling my asthma now. Anyway, during the time I was sick Parker mastered walking. He's still very cautious when taking steps, but choosing to walk more often when trying to get to something or somewhere. Connor thinks it's wonderful. I think he sees Parker in a whole new light now. I catch Connor talking to Parker like he's a puppy all the time now. He makes a smooching noise with his mouth and says, "Come on, Parker!" I think I know who's the boss in the relationship.
