Trick-or-Treat

We survived another Halloween. In true Overstreet fashion, we were all feeling icky the past few days and for a moment I thought I wouldn't be able get either of the boys dressed up in a costume and out trick-or-treating. Connor was sick his first Halloween and we spent the night inside passing out candy with Nana. Parker was sick his first Halloween too. He spent tonight inside passing out candy with Daddy.

After much persuasion and equal amount of determination, I managed to get Connor suited up in his elephant costume. I began sewing the costume less than two weeks ago after deciding that once again it would be our best option for comfort. Connor was so excited about watching me make the elephant costume. But, just like the year before, he freaked out once it was actually time to put it all on. Finally, I put the costume on him one more time, tossed him into the wagon and immediately headed for his best friend's house. He was so excited about going to see Jordan that he forgot all about his headpiece. I was even able to snap a picture of him.

Here are a few pictures of Connor trick-or-treating with Jordan. He was so funny and a little confused. I heard him tell a few people, "Happy Birthday!" and he left one house singing, "Jingle Bells." It was very entertaining.

I'm so impressed. That elephant costume is adorable and of course Connor is to.

Both boys are adorable!
I cannot get over you talented women! I have a few friends from NY that were super crafty and great at sewing and I'd joke that I was a buyer not a maker. lol. They tried really hard to get me into it... but I'm just not that talented.
