So, after fighting some major wind that blew Connor over and nearly ripped my passenger door off the hinges, we're back from the doctor. Parker weighed in at 16 lbs and is a little over 25 in. in length. That puts him in the 75 % for weight and the 50 % for height. Connor weighed in at 29 lbs. and is a little over 33 in. tall. That puts him in the 50 % for weight and the 25 % for height.
The saddest thing happened while getting Parker's vaccinations. I placed him on the table so that the nurse could give him three shots. He looked up at me and started giggling. He had no clue what was about to happen. Then, the nurse grabbed his legs to steady them before inserting the needles and Parker started laughing even harder. As soon as the nurse put the needle in his first leg he immediately stopped laughing and started crying. He looked up at me like he was saying, "How could you let this happen to me?" I cuddled and kissed him when it was all over, but he has not laughed since receiving his vaccinations. I hope he forgets about it all by the time he awakes from his nap.
I'd post after shots, but we "look like a mess."
