State your citizenship

We introduced Connor to a little taste of Mexico our last night in Del Rio. We were invited to climb on board with about 20-something other co-workers, family, friends and neighbors for a trip down to Ciudad Acuna Mexico. We left the states at about 3 pm and loaded about 18 people in to one taxi and the rest in to another. We laughed at the irony of a van full of Americans traveling in to Mexico.

Once we arrived (just minutes later), we browsed the shops along the main road. Then, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at a very hot spot. Everyone in there appeared to be American. The night ended with a few songs from a Mariachi band and Connor dumping a bowl of syrup on his head.

We arrived back in the states sticky, but smelling very sweet. I gave Connor a bath and now here we sit while Jimmy has rejoined his friends at a "driveway party." We'll board a plane to Mobile tomorrow at about 11 and arrive back home around 4 pm. We haven't signed a deal on house yet, but hope to close on something in the next couple of weeks.
